税金の催促である。６５歳となり年金が支給されるとまさに次から次と！市民税、固定資産税、健康保険税、そしてなんと介護保険料だぜ！私は生命保険にちゃんと入っているんだが、その上にこの保険税！なんてこった！この夏、この時期、急に請求書のオンパレード！何が老後必要な２千万円だ！こちとら、とんでもない事態だ！しかし、つくづく思う、稼いでいた時に貯蓄をしておくべきだったと。散々道楽したツケが今になって来る。考えてみるに、我が父は尊敬に値する男だった。真面目に八幡製鉄所に４０年勤めあげ我々家族に金の苦労を感じさせなかった。私がそれこそ道楽でこさえた２百万以上の借金を黙って融通してくれた。私は懲りずにその後も夜のクラブ遊びを続けて再び借金生活。父も母も亡くなった翌年、結局は父が建てた北九州の家を売り払い借金返済にあてた。とんだ親不孝息子だ！それでもなんとか両親の葬式を出し墓を建てたが、年を取り試合数が減り始め金が無くなっていくと、東京住まいが出来なくなった。恥ずかしい話だが、賃貸マンションの家賃が払えな
くなったってことだ。格好つけて代々木の高級マンションに３０年以上住んでいた。殆んど無一文に近い私は仕方なく埼玉に引っ込んだ。年金貰える年代となり、高い家賃を払わなくてもいい。少しは貯金できて、いよいよ悠々自適人生か？…考えが甘かった！なんのことはない。年金の半分が税金で持っていかれる。同年代の友人らに尋ねると皆そうだって！老人に酷しい世の中かい！まぁ貯蓄をしなかった自分が一番いけないんだけどね(笑)。散々遊んだ分のしっぺ返しは必ず来るもんだな(笑)。他の同年代の友人らは結構溜め込んでいるんだろうか？(笑)今度聞いてみよう(笑)。
